At Fraunhofer IPK, we develop new technologies and methods for the digitalisation of the product development process in the area of model-based development, from design and product development of complex systems to the digital factory. Our solutions support the digitalisation process with a high impact on product creation.

What are you offering?


We offer the identification and evaluation of use cases of virtual and augmented reality in product creation, as well as the benchmarking of existing software and hardware for specific use cases. In addition, we advise on the introduction of XR in business processes and develop our own software solutions tailored to customer requirements with a focus on user-friendliness and data consistency for virtual and augmented reality applications as well as optimisation of data preparation processes (bidirectional data exchange).

For which target group do you mainly produce?


Our customers want to optimise their product development processes and are not afraid to use new technologies to do so. We are currently working increasingly with industrial customers from the automotive and aircraft industries who are particularly interested in prototyping use cases.
