VR Business Club connects: rooom presents AR portal at Siemens groundbreaking ceremony

On September 28, 2025, the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the Siemens Technology Campus in Erlangen took place—a strong signal for the future and innovative strength in Germany.

We are particularly pleased that we, as the VR Business Club, were able to establish contact between rooom and Siemens. The highlight of the event was the presentation of rooom’s AR portal: using a smartphone, visitors can not only experience the digital twin of the new campus from the outside, but also virtually enter the logistics area and the high-bay warehouse. This is an impressive example of how the Industrial Metaverse makes complex construction projects tangible and experiential.

With an investment of €500 million, Siemens is not only creating a new building in Erlangen, but also paving the way for a future in which physical architecture and digital experience go hand in hand.
